Ownership and Registration
AfyaDepo, along with the domains www.afyadepo.com and www.afyadepot.co.tz, is the exclusive property of AfyaSave Limited. Established in 2019, our registered address is 100074 Dar es Salaam, authorized by the Tanzania Business Registration authorities (BRELA).

Platform Users
Users on the AfyaDepo platform are either patients looking for healthcare providers for virtual or home-based care services or buyers interested in purchasing health products. Users can be individual buyers purchasing at retail prices (B2C) or businesses buying in bulk at wholesale prices (B2B).
Virtual Consultation
- Individual Patients: Users can schedule online video consultations with licensed healthcare professionals. These consultations are for informational purposes and complement traditional medical examinations.
- Booking Process: Users can browse available healthcare providers or services offered and book appointments directly through the AfyaDepo platform.
- Consultation & Follow-Up: Professionals provide advice, answer health-related questions, and recommend further actions. Users can schedule follow-up appointments via the platform’s messaging system.
- Payment: Users pay for consultations through the platform, with fees transparently displayed. Payments can be out-of-pocket or through insurance coverage.
Healthcare Product Purchases
- Individual Buyers (B2C): Order health products at retail prices, subject to stock availability.
- Prescription Requirements: Some products may require a prescription, which users must provide at the time of purchase.
- Returns and Refunds: AfyaDepo has a clear policy for returns and refunds. Users can return products within a specified period if unsatisfied or defective.
- Business Buyers (B2B): Healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and corporate wellness programs can purchase health products in bulk at wholesale prices, benefiting from discounts and procurement management services.
- Custom Agreements: Businesses can enter into customized agreements for pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Account Security & Privacy
- Security Measures: Users must maintain account security. AfyaDepo implements robust encryption to protect user data. Users must choose strong passwords; 2FA is available.
- Privacy Policy: Data is handled with strict confidentiality. It is used solely to provide services and is not shared with third parties without consent.
- Customizable Settings: Users can customize data preferences and marketing opt-ins through account settings.
Termination and Disputes
- Termination: Users can terminate their accounts at any time, leading to data deletion (except where legally required). AfyaDepo reserves the right to terminate accounts for violations, providing notice.
- Dispute Resolution: Disputes are resolved in accordance with the governing laws of Tanzania Mainland. AfyaDepo encourages mediation as a first step before legal action in Tanzanian courts.
Partners, Providers & Suppliers
Healthcare Providers
Licensed professionals offering virtual consultations or home-based care. Providers must adhere to quality standards, patient confidentiality, and safety regulations. AfyaDepo collects fees and remits them after a service fee deduction.
Fulfillment Partners
Businesses fulfilling orders for nearby users. Partners must process orders promptly (typically within 2 hours), align pricing, and display AfyaDepo branding. Payments are disbursed weekly minus a 15% service fee.
Suppliers & Affiliates
Suppliers list brands and commit to product availability, quality assurance, and compliance. Affiliates promote products for up to 20% commission per the Affiliate Program Agreement.
General Provisions
AfyaDepo reserves the right to modify terms. All parties must maintain confidentiality of business-related information and comply with Tanzanian law.
